One terrorist was killed during the Panjgur operation: ISPR troops found firearms and ammunition during the IBO.

Rawalpindi: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday that during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Panjgur district, Balochistan, security forces killed one terrorist and injured two more.

According to the military’s media branch, terrorist Chakar Liaquat was killed, and two other people were shot and injured by security forces during the IBO on March 20–21.

The terrorists, who were “actively involved in numerous terrorist activities,” according to the ISPR, had guns and ammo confiscated from their hideaway by the military forces.

“As the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country, a sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area,” the ISPR stated.

Hours after the military stopped a gang of gunmen from attacking the Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) Complex, the Panjur operation was carried out.

Following the clearance operation, the military’s propaganda wing had declared, “Own troops employed for security responded immediately and effectively engaged the terrorists, and in the ensuing fire exchange, all eight terrorists were sent to hell.”

Several weapons, ammo, and explosives were also found on the terrorists who were slain.

According to the ISPR, two courageous troops, Sepoy Bahar Khan (35 years old, from district DG Khan) and Sepoy Imran Ali (28 years old, from district Khairpur), gave their life in a valiant battle and gave Shahadat an embrace during the gunfight.

“Security forces of Pakistan, in step with the nation remain determined to thwart attempts of sabotaging peace and stability of Balochistan, and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” it continued.
