Latest: Kyrgyzstan Mob Attack on Pakistani Nationals
Informing us about the Latest updates regarding the situation in Kyrgyzstan, Ambassador Hasan Zaigham has verified that Shahzaib, a National of Pakistan who was hurt in a mob attack in Bishkek, is not in danger.
On Saturday, Zaigham posted a video message in which he exclaimed, “Alhamdulillah! His ( referring to Shahzaib) condition is out of danger”.
Reason for the attack on students in Bishkek , Kyrgyzstan:
The Kyrgyz Interior Ministry stated that the Kyrgyzstan Mob Attack was caused due to a video going viral which consisted a skirmish among Kyrgyz and Egyptian and Arab students.
They harassed international students on May 13. The Pakistani ambassador stated that the angry crowds attacked six hostels. The ambassador stated that 14 foreign nationals were hurt in the attacks, citing the Kyrgyz government.
PM Shehbaz Orders to send Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.:
The PM Shehbaz Sharif has ordered to send Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar along with Amir Muqam to travel to kyrgyzstan and ensure the provision of medical facilities to the injured students.
Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, expressed his sorrow about the occurrence in a statement and promised that Islamabad would promptly return any residents who wished to leave the nation.
The Pakistani Govt will take care of the cost of the Nationals injured in Kyrgyzstan. The PM lastly added in a conversation with the Pakistani envoy, “I am personally keeping an eye on the situation in Kyrgyzstan.
Furthermore the prime minister insisted that communication with the Kyrgyzstani administration is ongoing. The government will not abandon the students living in Kyrgyzstan.
However the ambassador again went on to say that Ishaq Dar, the nation’s deputy prime minister and chief executive, gave the mission the directive to give Pakistani nationals in Kyrgyzstan every convenience imaginable.
