Punjab announces a service for transferring properties to Pakistani expatriates CM Building roadside parks and modest gyms on public land is overseen by Maryam.

Lahore: In an effort to protect foreign residents from fraud, Punjab’s recently elected Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced on Friday the opening of a property transfer service for Pakistanis living abroad.

The provincial chief executive spoke during the special reform-focused meeting of the Punjab Board of Revenue (BoR).

The property transfer service would facilitate land registration, e-filing, and mutation for the Pakistani diaspora.

CM Maryam ordered Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia, the US, the UK, and other Gulf nations to start the service as soon as possible.

She asked for documentation of the government’s land holdings in the province and gave instructions to guarantee the timetable for property transfer services for the Pakistani diaspora.

During the meeting, the newly elected chief minister was updated on the Punjab Land Record Authority’s operations.

Maryam was instructed to take action in order to construct playgrounds and tiny gyms alongside the road on government property. Additionally, she mandated the creation of land facilitation centers in each district.

During the meeting, it was announced that the land facilitation centers would be divided into 11 sections by June 30th. The attendees were also informed that the land records for 5,798 Mauza would be accessible online until December 2024.

The chief minister was informed that the province’s ten districts will host the launch of the online land record project. She was also told that corporate farming would be practiced on 811,044 acres of federal property.

Earlier in the day, Maryam stated that thorough planning was necessary for Punjab’s Regional Economic Corridor while chairing another meeting on the Urban Unit in Lahore.

She gave the order to create an industrial zone mapping plan.

The CM stated that by acquiring genuine data through industrial mapping, the government would support small manufacturers.

She gave the order to compile information from every industrial facility to create a workable smog management plan.

The chief minister promised to use every resource at hand to help investors.
