Jennifer Lopez and (G)I-DLE recently worked together to release a remix of ‘This Time Around’.

Jennifer Lopez and (G)I-DLE worked together on This Time Around. On Thursday, March 14, the pop singer’s This Time Around was remixed by Girl Group (G)I-DLE and Jennifer Lopez.

Soyeon of (G)I-DLE delivers the song’s post-chorus after the American pop icon sings the first two verses and choruses.

The third verse is entirely taken over by Soyeon, Minnie, Yuqi, and Miyeon as they join in to sing the English-Korean lyrics.

In a press statement issued on Friday, March 15, the girl group’s management, Cube Entertainment, said that Soyeon had a significant hand in crafting the song’s topline.

Lopez and the female group member are considered co-composers and co-lyricists for the remixed version.

Following the premiere of her film This is Me…Now: A Love Story, Lopez released the original song on February 16 as a part of her studio album This Is Me Now.

The pop star and her husband Ben Affleck’s courtship served as the basis for the true story that inspired the movie.

With the EP I AM released in May 2018, (G)I-DLE set off on their journey and quickly gained notoriety.

The band has five members: Shuhua, Yuqi, Minnie, Soyeon, and Miyeon.
